Six Sigma Belts Training

Six Sigma Green Belt Programme

TEC’s Six Sigma Green Belt Programme consists of 5 (five) 2-day public training sessions following the DMAIC cycle – delivered on a monthly basis at the Woodland Grange Conference Centre (Leamington Spa). Each session contains ‘homework’ sessions to ensure that the principles and practices are fully understood.

In addition to the intensive training sessions, the designated Green Belts undertake individual high-profile projects to ensure that their newly acquired skills are put to use immediately to the benefit of their organizations – “achieving excellence through accelerated learning”.

The inclusive cost per participant is £2,750.

Lean Six Sigma & SC21 deployment

TEC’s practical SC21 Lean-Six Sigma Programme integrates Six Sigma, Lean Enterprise and Kaizen Blitz principles and practices with SC21 CSIP deployment.

Practical training is delivered at ‘group’ training sessions scheduled over five months (2-days training per month) to maximize the benefits and minimize any disruption to routine work activities.

Participants are typically the appointed SC21 Champion and SC21 Change Agents – and they select a major CSIP improvement project as their personal assignment to undertake over a 3-month period. Consequently their newly acquired project management and continual improvement skills can be put to work immediately deploying the SC21 CSIP to the benefit of their organization. The SC21 Champion is given additional training and mentoring so that they can take the lead in organizing and managing the deployment of all of their organization’s SC21 CSIP improvement projects – undertaken by the SC21 Change Agents.

The CSIP improvement project activities serve to support and accelerate the progress of Lean-Six Sigma learning for the staff involved and maximize their organization’s return on its investment. Each training session has ‘homework’ exercises focused on the selected CSIP project to be undertaken by participants that are submitted to TEC for assessment and individual feedback. The goal is the attainment of an SC21 Recognition Award and continual sustainable improvement in all things. In this way development of individual skills and accomplishment of the CSIP improvement project objectives go hand-in-hand. We call it heuristics – “the art of discovering and invention” or more simply “learn by doing”.

TEC’s master trainers have extensive experience deploying Six Sigma in the ‘SC21 environment’ with individual companies and supply chain groups. This experience has assisted 19 companies to attain SC21 Silver and SC21 Bronze recognition awards and the empowerment of their staff has ensured that they have retained and upgraded their awards year-on-year.
