One of the key elements of the IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) improvement strategy for the IAQG ICOP (Industry Controlled Other Party) process has been the development of IAQG sanctioned training courses – these courses are now fully developed and available in the UK from TEC.
TEC Transnational are the UK’s ATP (Approved Training Provider) offering AATT (Aerospace Auditor Transition Training) courses and ‘proctored’ examinations in the UK (with UK presenters). Our formal course approvals can be viewed at the IAQG Web Site or at the OASIS Web Site.

All existing auditors – especially those working for Certification Bodies – must complete the AATT for authentication as AAs (Aerospace Auditors) or AEAs (Aerospace Experience Auditors) for the 2009 version of AQMS standards. The AATT course fulfils the requirements for the 9104/3 'foundation course' for AEAs and AAs. Successful completion of the foundation course is only one of the requirements for being authenticated as an AA or AEA. Auditors should consult 9104/3 and their AAB (i.e. the IRCA in the UK) to determine all requirements for authentication.
For others auditors who are not currently AEAs or AAs – typically internal and supplier auditors – it is strongly advised that they attend and pass the 5-day EN9100 Aerospace Quality Management Standard Auditor Course to gain competence in the requirements of the 2009 version of AQMS standards and also fully understand the 'process approach' to auditing. The use of the modern, visual process approach and the management of corporate KPIs and process-level metrics is mandated by EN9100:2009 (Rev C) and will be auditied by Certification Bodies (EN9101:2010).
