TEC is a formally approved Training Provider under the IAQG ICOP scheme administered by the A|D|S who are the UK's Other Party Management Team (OPMT) Training Provider Approval Body (TPAB) against the requirements specified in EN9104/3. TEC provide approved aerospace/defence courses and related auditor examinations for all of the course syllabi specified in EN9104/3.
TEC’s Master Trainers have now been formally trained and qualified to deliver the new IAQG AATT course and associated on-line examinations. To be approved, our Master Trainers have also passed the demanding 5-day ASDE Course.
We shall be providing training for the UK Certification Bodies from October onwards. All of the key elements of the IAQG AATT course have now been incorporated into our TPAB-approved Foundational Courses and the AQMS Standard Auditor Course – see below for details.

Aerospace/Defence 'Core Tools' Training Courses

TPAB-approved courses
TEC's TPAB-approved courses and their associated examinations are for internal auditors and quality professionals in the aviation, space and defence sectors wishing to upgrade their skills, competency and formal (IRCA) qualifications. All of our TPAB-approved courses & Exams comply to the syllabi specified in EN9104/3. Training courses are regularly scheduled as public events and can also be delivered on site for individual companies and the A|D|S Regional Partners.
All of our currenlty approved courses conform to the syllabi specified in EN9104/3 as a minimum and also address the modern, visual process approach. They have been completely rewritten to incorporate the 2009 changes in requirements to the IAQG 91XX-series of Aviation, Space and Defence Quality Management System standards, the requirements for accredited certification introduced by the new edition of AS/EN9101:2010 (Rev D), ISO/IEC 17021 and practical experience gained from implementing the modern, visual and process-driven systems in scores of companies throughout the world. The courses address all of the new requirements, the use of the process approach plusAQMS and process-level effectiveness management (PEAR).

Aerospace Quality Management System Auditor Course (5-days) - based on AATT Course
Suitable for Internal Auditors and Auditors not qualified as ISO 9001 Lead Auditors. This interactive course is based on the ATT Course and provides a full explanation of the AS/EN9100 Standard (including the ISO 9001:2008 clauses), in-depth training & coaching in auditing methodology (using the process approach) and modern RCCA (root cause corrective action) techniques. Extensive use is made of structured exercises, role-playing and actual auditing scenarios. Multiple-choice answer and written examinations are included. Candidates successfully completing the course receive a formal numbered Training Certificate. Pass marks >70% contain the A|D|S ASDS logo (as specified in EN9104-3) that is recognised by the IRCA. Aerospace Quality Management System Foundation Course (2-days)
Suitable for ISO 9001 Lead Auditors. These intensive courses cover the additional aerospace/defence requirments added to ISO 9001:2008 in great detail - interpretation, implementation strategies and auditing targets. Extensive use is made of real-world examples to illustrate the principles and practices involved. Multiple-choice-answer and written examinations are included. Candidates successfully completing the course receive a formal numbered Training Certificate. Pass marks >70% contain the A|D|S ASCS logo (as specified in EN9104-3) that is recognised by the IRCA. Aerospace Industry Specific Course (3-days)
Suitable for all - and especially for individuals entering the aerospace and defece sectors from other industries (e.g. automotive). Can also be used by Certification Body Auditors wanting to boost their knowledge of a wide range of aviation, space and defence topics. The objective is to provide a sound understanding of the aerospace and defence operational environment, regulatory requirements (EASA Pt 21 G & J, Pt 145, Type Certification, etc.) and related industry-specific best-practices (e.g. FAIR, Key Characteristics, Capability Studies, SPC, Sample Plans, FOD Control, Calibration Control, Special Processes, Project Management, Risk Management, Design Reviews, and much more – see the detailed syllabus).

IRCA does not certify aerospace training as national training providers are approved by a National Aerospace Industry Association (NAIA) the A|D|S in the UK. All of TEC's current courses conform to the syllabi specified in 9104/3 as a minimum and also address the modern, visual process approach as mandated in AS/EN9101:2010 (Rev D).
It is highly recommended that all UK aerospace auditors should register with IRCA because IRCA administers the OASIS scheme on behalf of A|D|S - and attend and pass the appropriate AATT course and examination being run by TEC.
