Graves Aircraft Components gain an SC21 Bronze Award

Graves Aircraft Components specialises in machining ‘strangers’ and ‘aliens’ for aerospace manufacturers. So whatever the complexity and number of processes required, quality is always of an exactingly high standard.

Graves have taken their continual pursuit of excellence a stage further by actively engaging with SC21. This industry-led campaign is aimed at transforming the way UK does business. Not only does it accelerate competitiveness but it acts to cement those vital relationships between customer and supplier essential for hassle-free business.

Having signed up to SC21, Graves engaged TEC as their Strategic Partner to undertake the in-depth diagnostics that are focused on Business Excellence (EFQM), Manufacturing Excellence (Lean) and Performance Measurement, Management & Improvement. This has enabled their ‘top team’ to formulate a Continuous Sustainable Improvement Plan (CSIP) to improve an exiting high level of performance that has been rewarded by a Bronze SC21 Recognition Award. The company will receive their award from the SC21 Industry Task Force at RAF Cosford on the 11 May 2010.
