MOD & NATO Standards (AQAP 2110, 2310 & 2105)

Both the UK MoD and NATO (OTAN) are specifying conformity with either AQAP 2110 for general manufacturing or AQAP 2310 for aerospace/defence related contracts.

These standards add supplementary QMS requirements to ISO 9001 and AS9100 respectively and mandate that an effective and economical QMS be established, documented, applied, maintained, assessed, improved and evaluated, in accordance with all their requirements.

Once deployed, AQAP2110/2310 provide confidence in a supplier organization’s capability to deliver products that conform to the UKMOD and/or NATO (OTAN) countries’ contract requirements.

In addition, contracts with MoD and NATO require submission of a ‘contract-specific’ Quality Plan, in accordance with AQAP 2105 and the appropriate DEFCON 602 (A or C) plus compliance with the wider pre-contractual quality criteria
